Sabrina at 8 months

Sabrina is getting big and is learning that she can get around even if crawling isn't happening yet. She scoots around, crawls backwards, lifts her upper body and places it somewhere else, and does it all again. Her new thing is to go from her tummy to sitting upright, over and over and over again...

She is frustrated that she can't get around yet, and all the crawling backwards just lands her further away from her toys... ;-)

Deep Creek Lake with family

Since I just created this web page, some things will be out of order. I wanted to post a picture or two from Deep Creek Lake. Sabrina and I went at the beginning of August for a night to visit my cousin and his family. It was lots of fun, there were 15 of us there including Sabrina!

Sabrina's first international journey

August 18-21 we went to Turks and Caicos islands for a mini vacation. We stayed at Beaches for 3 nights and loved it! Sabrina loves the water, splashing and kicking in the pool and the ocean. Jon's favorite part of the vacation was the swim-up bars at every pool. The resort is geared for families, so they were used to kids and strollers at the resort and its restaurants, which was nice. It was really beautiful and we would love to go back.
